The amount of time owners have to seek legal action against their Architects, Engineers or Contractors varies from state to state.

Therefore, here are the Idaho statute of limitations you should know:
Personal injuries/Negligence/malpractice – 2 years
Breach of oral contract  – 4 years
Breach of written contract – 5 years
Civil actions in tort – 6 years

If there is no statute of limitations specified then a 4 year statute applies.

State Statute of Repose: 6 Years

Discovery Rule: No

Mechanic’s Lien must be filed within 6 months after completion of project
